Clear, assignment-level policy language that pairs with each framework. Copy any of them into your syllabus and adapt the details to your course. This is suggested language and a starting point. Personalize it for your course and align any integrity language with your institution's academic integrity policies.
A good assignment-level AI policy is short and specific. Before you write one, answer three questions:
Is AI use permitted on this assignment? Is it required, or can students opt out?
Which parts may it be used for (research, brainstorming, drafting, editing), and which parts must be the student's own? Which tools (general-purpose AI vs. specific apps)?
How should students document what they used? (e.g. submit the AI conversation, add a brief note listing tools and how they were used, or include a citation.)

Because the work is built on your own [lived experience / in-class discussion / recorded evidence], AI-generated content cannot fulfill it. Using AI to produce any part of your submission is not permitted and will be treated as a violation of academic integrity.
